A new deli is coming to Leeds! When ‘The Leeds Deli’ approached me to do their brand ID, I was thrilled to get involved. Accomplished Leeds chef Nick Colley’s vision is for Italian & French influenced cuisine with an industrial urban chic interior aesthetic within their premises in Roundhay, North Leeds.
He wanted a bold, contemporary brand ID, so I developed several logos and applied to visuals of external signage, takeaway packaging, labels and reuseable shopping bags to get a clear picture of how the identity would rollout. The final route was clear winner – he loved the graphic nature of the logo and we plan to further explore diagonal line patterns and a playful tone of voice for the product range.
It’s slated to open in Spring of 2021 and I’m excited to see how it develops… and of course become a patron myself!
